Victor says, "We do the small stuff: broken pews, missing molding, warped doors and windows. We take care of the irritating projects that come up because of delayed maintenance, poor repairs, or short-sighted original installations."
The firm also creates new items to match existing furnishings. "At Christ Church New Brighton, the Altar Guild asked me for a plant stand that looked like an existing stand but that was one and a half times as large," says Victor. "Another project was to rebuild two warped oak doors to match the originals. They had to fit into openings that had become trapezoidal over time."
The company has had experience working with local architects and contractors who take on historically sensitive projects like installing slate roofs and repointing stone towers. "We can recommend people for the big projects," he says.
"We can also help you write grant applications. We’ve written successful grant proposals for Christ Church New Brighton and other organizations."
