The CartoVista Publisher 3.7 features a powerful new tile publishing module that allows users to create custom tiled base maps. Advanced parameters and enhanced feature and labelling styles are available to create very high quality tiles, compatible with Google Maps, Microsoft Bing Maps, Open Street Map and others.
“The CartoVista web interface greatly simplifies the deployment of complex geographic data while empowering end-users with advanced thematic control”, said Dany Bouchard, President of DBx GEOMATICS inc. “Using the tile publishing module, users can setup atlas quality base maps with unlimited zoom details. The combination of this cartographic flexibility and the interactive capabilities of our platform make it really unique for online map publishing.”
In addition, this release of the CartoVista Publisher includes expanded data connectivity for GIS data stored in Oracle Spatial, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. The CartoVista Publisher 3.7 also features improvements such as the ability to configure data indicators right at the map layer level.
In parallel, the CartoVista Viewer 3.7 features multiple improvements in the user interface (legend, statistics, layer control, etc.) and general software performance enhancements.
