“Dr. Wen has a distinguished career as a scholar, educator and academic leader and we are pleased to have him come to CSU Dominguez Hills,” said Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Ramon Torrecilha. “We believe his experience aligns well with the mission of the university and the College of Business Administration and Public Policy to educate and prepare a diverse student body to succeed in a global workforce.”

“It is a great privilege to be named dean of the College of Business Administration and Public Policy at CSU Dominguez Hills,” Wen said. “I look forward to meeting with students, faculty, staff, alumni and boards on campus and working closely with these stakeholders to define CBAPP’s brand and help develop leaders who will help shape the future.”

Wen previously had been department chair of accounting and MIS and the endowed business alumni professor at Southeast Missouri State; and served on the faculty at Illinois State University, Rutgers University, and New Jersey Institute of Technology; and as visiting professor at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. A scholar in the area of e-commerce strategy and e-learning effectiveness, he has received more than $6 million in research grants and is widely published.

A native of Taiwan, Wen earned his doctorate in information systems from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, a master’s in management from Chinese Cultural University in Taiwan, and a bachelor’s in navigation from the National Taiwan Ocean University.
