May 30, 2012 - PRLog -- From May 15th through June 30th, luxury cashmere decorative and wearable art company, Kashmir Moon will open their first pop-up shop at RS POP+ at The Roger Smith Hotel.  Normally a wholesale company, Kashmir Moon will be open to the public for the first time to give everyone the chance to experience handcraftsmanship at its best with elegant rugs, scarves, shawls and jackets all made from the highest quality of cashmere, wool, and silk.

With a history that dates back centuries, Kashmir Moon’s founder Sujaat H. Kemma has a lifetime of experience with intricate and handmade rugs.  He said from the day he was born there were carpets on the floor.  This craft of creating these rugs originated in 16th century in Kashmir India and the same techniques are still used.  The carpets are all handmade, taking from a couple months to years to complete.  

With special features such as jeweled carpets, and carpets that give a different illusion each way it is flipped, these one-of-a kind pieces make any household shine with elegance and class.
