Miller Family YMCA July 4 Festival
A community all-you-can-
The Miller Y Independence Day 5k/10k Run/Walk starts at 7:30 a.m. Runners and walkers will wind their way around the Dos Vientos neighborhood before finishing back at the Y. The walk is family and stroller-friendly. Awards will be handed out to winners of the 5k and 10k races at a 9:30 a.m. ceremony.
Free live entertainment, a kids' zone and family activities begin a 9:00 a.m. with a patriotic Fourth of July parade sponsored by the Dos Vientos Homeowners Association at 10:00 a.m. The parade begins at the Dos Vientos Community Center and ends at the Y.

All run/walk registrations include a pancake breakfast. To register early, go to http://www.active.com and type in Miller Family YMCA. Online registration starts at $20 per person and $50 per family (immediate family only). Registration is also available on Sunday, July 3 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Road Runner Sports (1714 Newbury Park, 805-372-1415)
