Ghost Hunting On The Friday 13th July At The Old Nick Theatre, Simply Ghost Nights, Gainsborough

Would you like to be taken to the cells of the “Old Nick” where you will be detained overnight for questioning and to assist in our ghost hunt?

The Old Nick now a theatre was once a fully operational Police Station with a very murky and spooky past, will you survive the darkness of this ghost night whilst sharing your cell with the prisoners of decades passed. Will you feel the chill of the night as you reside in this very haunted location?

Will you feel the spirits of Gainsboroughs old constabulary as you venture into the dark scary corridors? Now converted from a Victorian police station and courthouse, the Old Nick Theatre is home to many spirits, spirits that once worked here, and spirits that performed on the stage of the theatre.

Paranormal activity reported in the past in the cells with Stuart and Andy the group witnessed some fantastic table tipping whilst communicating with a former policeman of Gainsborough who claimed to have been called Officer Clegg. When asked via the ouija board was he around when horse and carts were used, Officer Clegg said yes. The group were entertained by Officer Clegg who responded to the group�s questions with yes and no via the ouija board.

Jo mentioned how in the cells a brave ghost hunter called Hannah took part in alone vigil in one of the men�s cells, Hannah claimed that she had heard footsteps coming right up to the door, however the corridor was empty.

Many groups also commented how they had encountered some amazing K2 work during the course of the event, and the sound enhancers are coming into their own with respect of what they pick up sound wise that the human ears cannot, from incarnate voices, guttural noises, and specific names as well.

Strange phenomena has been reported for many years by its visitors, cold unseen hands have been felt on unsuspecting customers. Objects have disappeared and manifested elsewhere for no apperent reason. Shadows have been seen darting around the building and a tense and heavy athmosphere felt and much much more.......

The Old Nick is now a grade two listed building, so come and join us if you want to simply be a ghost hunter for a night, in a building steeped in so much history.
