Surprise is his real given name.  With a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the Institute for Integral Studies in San Francisco, Dr. Kirby Surprise worked as a social worker in impoverished areas before returning to graduate school.  Currently, he works in an advance outpatient program for the state of California. A professional communicator, group educator, and author, the title of his book is Synchronicity.

For more than 30 years, Paul Helfrich, Ph.D., has been exploring the Seth Materials, as well as attending and presenting at Seth conferences (since 1996).  He was the admin for the Sethnet email list from 1998-2009.  Paul is a pre-eminent Seth Scholar.  Regarding Seth, Paul is an essay author, lecturer and workshop-presenter who also talks about the channeling phenomenon and Integral Psychology.  A musician, his 2003 Mindscapes music CD is available on iTunes, rhapsody, and CDBaby.
