Cooper Electric's Open House in Ocean a Big Success!

May 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Ocean, NJ – May 2012: Cooper Electric Supply Co., a subsidiary of Sonepar USA and leading provider of electrical supplies serving New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, celebrated its grand opening at their new branch in Ocean, NJ on Thursday, May 3rd. The new Cooper Electric branch is located on 42 Cindy Lane, near West Park Avenue and Route 35 in Monmouth County.
After recently celebrating 50 years in the electrical industry, Cooper Electric continues their growth in the market, making electrical supplies and services more and more convenient to their customers. The Ocean Branch opened in late November, and is fully stocked with industry leading products.  Cooper’s Ocean Branch carries day-to-day electrical product lines, wire, pipe, lighting, energy efficient products, and solar. The new location is also home to Cooper Power Systems, a division of Cooper Electric and exclusive distributors of Kohler generator sales, service, and rentals.  

Both customers, vendors, and employees joined in celebrating the grand opening of the new branch. Industry leading manufacturers were present, including Square D, Sylvania, Lutron, Klein Tools, Hadco, Kitchler, New Horizon Lighting, Hubbell, Pass & Seymour, Hoffman, 3M, Halo, NuTone, RAB Lighting, and Milwaukee tools. All vendors showcased new products and services that are new to the market. Both Milwaukee and Maxis brought enticing outdoor displays that captured customers’ attention as soon as they arrived.

Cooper’s Specialty Departments, such as Cooper Power Systems, Cooper On-line, Cooper Energy Solutions, Small Lighting Projects, and Commercial Lighting, also attended to support the new branch opening. Cooper Power Systems displayed the latest models of Kohler generators and supplies. One customer was presented with a free Kohler Series RXT-100 automatic transfer switch with an automatic load control module as a thank you for a recently purchased Kohler generator.

Free giveaways continued throughout the day sending customers home extra happy with a free Klein Tool Testing Kit, Golf kit, a Camping package, and various gift cards.

Special guests included Marianne Wilensky, Ocean Township’s Director of Community Development, who joined Michael Dudas, Cooper Electric’s President, in the ribbon cutting ceremony. Paul Abrams of Ocean Today, assisted in taking photographs of the ribbon cutting ceremony. These photos can be viewed in this month’s issue of Ocean Today, along with Eatontown/ Tinton Falls Today.
