The My Home Energy Switch partnership will provide Housing Association tenants and staff with a free and impartial online or telephone fuel switching service that will help them save an average of £165 on their gas and electric bills. The service will be continuously updated with the latest tariff information so tenants will be encouraged to keep checking the website to ensure they are getting the best deals.
It is the aim of My Home Energy Switch to provide the easiest possible service. Users can compare suppliers and tariffs online and select the one which is right for them. Switching shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. The new supplier will confirm the date of change direct with the customer with the process complete within around 4 weeks. There will never be any interruption to service and the only change the customer will notice is a little extra in their pocket. The process is completely secure and supported by a dedicated customer service team.
