Follow on Google News | Royale Hayat Launches Center For Diagnostic ImagingThe Royale Hayat Hospital inaugurated its state-of-the-art Center for Diagnostic Imaging in the presence of senior physicians, corporate partners and the national press at the hospital’s Gardenia ballroom.
Dr. Bader Al-Zaid Al-Traiji, Deputy CEO at the Royale Hayat Hospital welcomed the honorable guests to the launch of the renovated Department of Radiology. In his speech he emphasized on Royale Hayat's consistent efforts to remain at the forefront of evolving medical technology stating that "the inauguration of our spanking new Center for Diagnostic Imaging is part of our comprehensive modernization drive to equip the country's best hospital with the latest technologies that provide accurate diagnosis. During the event, Dr. Tarek Helmy – Head of the Center of Diagnostic Imaging & Consultant Radiologist stated: “Our team of western trained consultant radiologists is qualified and the center has the latest high technology equipments to provide accurate and faster studies, which include: • MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging • CT (Computerized Tomography) • Digital Fluoroscopy • 4D Ultrasound & Color Doppler • Full Field Digital Mammography • Bone Densitometry Dr. Tarek Helmy also highlighted: Dr. Osamah Al Saeed, Consultant Radiologist stated: “We are offering a full spectrum of imaging services – including MRI, CT, head and spinal, sports medicine, musculoskeletal imaging, bone biopsies and bone mineral density studies – to diagnose all disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The Musculoskeletal Imaging team strives to utilize the least invasive technology for diagnosis, advancing to more complex options only as warranted. Our state-of-the art, multi-channel, 128-slice CT scanner allows exquisite three-dimensional reconstructions of any body part that are routinely requested by referring surgeons performing complicated orthopedic procedures or joint replacements." Dr. Osama Al-Saeed also stressed on the center's specialization in imaging and diagnosing neurological disorders such as stroke, congenital anomalies, epilepsy, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis and problems of the ear-nose-throat system.
