“Wheel Food Wednesday” Launches 2nd Summer Event Series

May 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Starting May 30th, Jones Coffee Roasters, the award-winning Pasadena coffee shop, joins with The Sweets Truck to host the second-annual “Wheel Food Wednesday” (WFW) summer event series.  

Wheel Food Wednesday boasts a rotating weekly array of 4-5 the finest LA food, dessert, and fashion trucks, as well as providing an ongoing side stage for live bands and local musicians.  Starting May 30th, it will take place every Wednesday evening at Jones Coffee Roasters, from 5:30-9pm (May, June, and September) and 5:30-9:30pm (July and August).  Some of these premiere food trucks include: The Grilled Cheese Truck, Nom Nom Truck, The Sweets Truck, and CoolHaus.    

This Wednesday evening event series has some unique partnerships in the works for this summer.  One of these projects is a partnership with a walking food tour company, in which food truck chefs will create mini-food tours for customers to enjoy at Wheel Food Wednesday.  For a flat fee, guests will enjoy a walking tour around the trucks and try sample portions of special menu items that showcase the unique flavors of each food truck.

“We have also invited other Pasadena business owners to participate and we are eager to introduce some new bakers, catering concepts and vendors to the friends and fans of Wheel Food Wednesday,” adds event organizer, Molly Taylor.
