Soccer World Sports of Nashville, TN announced that they will be presenting Mexican Futbol giants CLUB AMERICA vs. PACHUCA FC on Saturday, July 7th at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, TN. Kickoff will be 8:00PM. Mexican soccer legand and national icon Hugo Sanchez will be at the helm for Pachuca, in his new role as head coach.
“This is the highest profile professional soccer event ever to hit Tennessee,” said Soccer World owner Mark Weisman. “We are thrilled and honored to host these amazing and legendary teams from Mexico, and we are confident that the thousands of soccer fans in the Southeast will come out to support what are two of Mexico’s most popular clubs,” added Weisman.
Tickets will go on sale May 14th and will be available at all Ticketmaster locations everywhere. Tickets are $35, $40 and $45. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com
Soccer World Sports is a Nashville based promoter of top quality professional soccer matches. In April 2004, Soccer World presented the first ever soccer match at LP Field, when it presented UAG Tecos from Guadalajara, Mexico and the Los Angeles Galaxy from the United States.
Local partners for the match include the Chattanooga Visitors Bureau and the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce’s International Business Council. “This is a great opportunity for Chattanooga to once again showcase how welcoming we are to international communities,”
The International Business Council will be accepting volunteers that could help in this event.
Finley Stadium is located at 1826 Carter Street, Chattanooga, TN and is the home stadium for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team, and various high school sports and musical concerts. The Stadium has a capacity of 20,668. This event is expected to sell out and fans are urged to buy their tickets immediately.
