150 Years Of Parties Culminates In Charleston

PRLog (Press Release) - May 28, 2012 - On Tuesday June 5 from 8pm-11pm, 18 of Charleston’s best bartenders will gather at the SC Aquarium celebrate Bacardi’s 150th anniversary and to compete in the Bacardi Cocktail Classic (formerly The Bacardi Mojito Challenge) which will benefit The South Carolina Special Olympics.

For the celebration the SC Aquarium will be transformed into a steamy Caribbean paradise where a panel of local celebrity judges and the public will decide the winning Bacardi cocktail while enjoying the sultry Cuban Jazz and Salsa of Gino Castillo and his Sextet.

Previous winners of the competition include John Acquino from Coast, and the 2011 winner, Lindsay Ranes from O-Ku.
Leading up to the event, Bacardi Cocktail Classic is hosting weekly Facebook and Twitter ticket giveaway contests for fans of their pages.

Tickets are available for $35 online at http://so-sc.org/ On June 1 tickets go up to $40 Space is limited, and advanced ticket purchase is highly recommended.
