MWG Will Crowdfund While Seeking Venture Capital or Private Backers for Worldwide Launch

May 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Max Davis, founder of Mobile Wisdom Games LLC (MWG) announced today that the world’s greatest game ever will be crowdfunding at Kickstarter, Indiegogo and other viable crowdfunding sites.

“In order to meet our goals there is a tremendous amount of multimedia content that has to be produced in advance of our September 23, 2012 launch date. Our in house methods are already proven, and we’re capable of producing significant amounts of content; however, we need to replicate significantly to stay on pace considering the number of countries we will be broadcasting to.”

He goes on to say, “So we will be raising funds via the community that our model was built to empower – the individuals of the world.  Mainly, we will use the funds to hire the services of teachers and qualified students from each area of the world that we are producing content for, and we will also be training and paying for the services of many others that we need to help produce the end result multimedia content that we need for each area.  Going forward we will need a continuous supply of this content to fuel what we have in mind.  Our intention is to utilize the services of people from all over the world via the Internet and other means to do this.”

“Crowdfunding is really becoming a significant resource for creators of all types, and, once made law, the JOBS act will open even more doors for entrepreneurs to get something going without depending upon the established gatekeeper’s backing which often times is skewed towards huge exit potential.  While there is every indication that our global mobile development could easily have the drawing power of a Facebook, I believe any exit strategy should also have built in ways to include the communities that supported the model.”

“And so, due to the size of our undertaking, we will continue to seek backing from the established gatekeepers of equity funding.  But, thanks to crowdfunding we don’t have to wait for those guys, and we’ll be able to keep on rolling towards our goals.”

Mobile Wisdom Games LLC has scheduled September 23, 2012 as the official launch date in the largest reachable countries first.  Content is being produced accordingly.
