Also featuring cooking demonstrations by former UK chefs of the year in Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine using wines and ingredients from Sainsbury’s, the events will take place at Ayr Spice Indian Restaurant on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 2, 3 and 4 June. Mafiz Ali commented: “My staff and I are very proud to be partnering Sainsbury’s for this event, which will provide an excellent opportunity for local people and visitors to sample Sainsbury’s wines and Ayr Spice cuisine at the same time as celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.” Marc Watson is manager of Sainsbury’s in Prestwick. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Ayr Spice, or from Sainsbury’s supermarket in Prestwick. They are also available from Sainsbury’s in Newton Stewart, as Ayr Spice has regular customers from the town and its surrounding area.
