Dr. Craig Herman Joins Keystone Pharmacy

May 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 24, 2012 – Keystone Pharmacy announced today that Dr. Craig Herman has joined Keystone Pharmacy as a compounding pharmacist.

Herman comes to Keystone Pharmacy with more than a decade of experience in pharmacy quality assurance and compounding expertise, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, marketing and product development.

“Craig’s experience in compounding will be invaluable to Keystone Pharmacy,” said David J. Miller, chief formulation scientist and co-owner. “He brings the quality and standard of service and product that we strive to provide to Grand Rapids and the surrounding communities.”

Prior to joining Keystone, he consulted at Skywalk Pharmacy in Milwaukee, Wisc. and worked as a pharmacist for Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee.  He has also served as chief innovation officer for MedCara Pharmaceuticals in Coralville and as a consultant for CarePro Compounding Pharmacy in Cedar Rapids, both in Iowa.  He began his career as a staff pharmacist for NuCara Compounding Pharmacy in Waterloo, Iowa.

Herman received an undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and his doctor of pharmacy from the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
