By: Carlisle Events The musical fun commences once the cars stop rolling and bands will be positioned at two different locations. The Red 102.3 Main Stage will feature Stephanie Bell & Little Rock and is located on the courthouse steps at the square of downtown Carlisle. The JFC Staffing Company parking lot is the second location just a few blocks east at the intersection of High and Pitt Streets. The Red 102.3 Stage at JFC features Chris Woodward. Both acts will play from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Each band playing Saturday night's parade and party are Pennsylvania based and have, at one point in their respective careers, opened for some of the biggest names in country music. Main stage act Stephanie Bell & Little Rock are one of Pennsylvania's premier bands and are back together after an eight year break to promote their new album, “This Beating of My Heart.” Besides playing their own hits, they enjoy covering all-time favorite country hits for their fans. Traveling up and down the east coast, Stephanie Bell & Little Rock has toured with some of the biggest names in country music such as Trace Adkins, Collin Raye, Toby Keith and many more. Chris Woodward, who will play the JFC lot, hails from Three Springs, Pennsylvania (Huntingdon County) and is an energetic performer with songs that will have enthusiasts singing along. Chris has played at places such as Hershey Park, the Bloomsburg Fair, the NASCAR Pocono 500 and many other fairs and events regionally. He’s opened up for country artists like Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Jessica Andrews, Lonestar and many more. Live music and the parade are just two great aspects of the 2012 Carlisle Ford Nationals. The weekend features great giveaways, displays and family activities, such as Kids at Carlisle and the Women’s Oasis. Further, the weekend offers a burnout competition, beauty contest, drag racing at Quarter Aces Drag-O-Way, a downtown parade, industry guests and so much more. With the Blue Oval as far as the eye can see, the 2012 Ford Nationals will be an elite Ford-branded event that is a must attend for men, women and children of all ages. End
