Bonnie Lim, owner of A Kid Place, states that “I’m thrilled with the release of the Kidkraft Dolls’ Shopping Center. Dollhouses are so special to girls, both young and old. Combine that with shopping and you have a winning fusion that will be a dream come true for girls. Kidkraft has several great new dollhouses coming out this year and I know that the Dolls Shopping Center will become a favorite.”
A proven pioneer in the industry for over 40 years, Kidkraft (http://www.akidplace.com/
The Kidkraft Dolls’ Shopping Center is sturdily constructed of wood and has non-toxic finishes, making it perfectly safe for kids. Large enough for several children to play together at once, this dollhouse is filled with realistic details that will keep kids completely engaged. The Shopping Center is three stories tall and has an escalator that dolls can go on to access the first two floors. There is also a working elevator that goes to each of the three floors.
At 42.72 inches high, this dollhouse is tall enough for 12-inch fashion dolls such as Barbie or Bratz. The rooms are also large in size, offering Barbie dolls and other dolls of similar size plenty of room to move freely about.
Each room of the Kidkraft Dolls’ Shopping Center has a fun theme and features complementary décor to suit the setting. For instance, the walls of the ice-cream parlor are decorated with pastel-colored polka dots, a sweet picture of ice-cream cones, hot-fudge sundaes, cupcakes, and other yummy treats, as well as a peppermint swirl stool, and old-fashioned gumball machine. Beneath the cash register, the counter has an appliqué of all kinds of ice-cream toppings and candies, making for a totally realistic experience.
The beauty salon has a picture of a chair and hair dryer. An actual play sink and chair is in the room. The dress shop has a dressing room. And the café has pictures of beverages and other menu selections, and a real table and stools for patrons. This shopping center even has an ATM machine, giving kids a grown-up sense of shopping.
