Michael H. Gilbert has over 20 years experience in Cleantech, Sustainability, and Energy Strategy. As an Independent Strategy and Business Consultant, he provides strategic advice and analysis on sustainability issues to corporations and investors. This includes companies in the following areas: algae bio-feedstock commercialization, concentrating solar power, carbon capture and air filtration, tidal energy, biomass to fuel, energy, power, biofuels, green buildings, waste management and recycling.

Mr. Gilbert worked as Vice President, Strategy and Business Development for Global Green Solutions, Inc. from 2007-2009. Prior to his tenure with Global Green Solutions, Inc., Mr. Gilbert worked for Pitney Bowes, Inc. as the Manager for Futures Strategy, Corporate Strategy Department from 2005-2007 and as the Manager for Energy, Environment Health & Safety from 1998-2005. He worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a Manager for International Environmental Technical Assistance and as Project Manager for Hazardous Waste Remediation (Superfund). He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) and certified energy manager (CEM). Mr. Gilbert has an MBA from the University of Connecticut and an MS, Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
