Actor Omar Gooding returns to TV in New Sitcom entitled “Family Time.”

PRLog (Press Release) - May 24, 2012 - When you are from one of the most talented families in the nation it is possible to become very jaded and maybe a bit stand offish; however that is not the case with actor Omar Gooding.  Although he has been in the spotlight most of his life, Omar remains down to earth and approachable.  Qualities that helped prepare him for his new on screen role as a father.   In his new situation comedy, Family Time,  he is the patriarch of the Stallworth family. He, along with his wife, played by Angell Conwell  are two working class people whose life is completely changed after winning the lottery.    Early indications are the show is a hit.
Omar Gooding is no stranger to the small screen, having appeared in more than a dozen TV shows that have included Hanging With Mr Cooper and Smart Guy  to Playmakers, Grey’s Anatomy and CSI . On the big screen he has Baby Boy and The Gospel  to his credit.
Although he has been absent from the screen for more than 2 years it has not been because of a lack of offers.  Knowing how much his fans enjoy his work Omar is careful about the roles he accepts and how he is portrayed.

Family Time debuts on Bounce TV on June 18th and was created by Bentley Kyle Evans (The Jamie Foxx Show and Martin).
