The ceremony took place at the Colorado State University- Pueblo on Saturday May 19, 2012. The auditorium was filled with family, friends and supports of the students who were highlighted. A warm welcome by Superintendent Caldwell and recognition by Principal Christians provided the back drop for student presentations. With inspiring speeches delivered both by this the 2012 Valedictorian and Salutatorian;
Principal Christians read a personal message about each of the graduates as they walked across the stage and received their diploma and from Mr. Winford, President of the School Board of Branson School District RE-82. The messages signified the variety of post secondary opportunities and interests held by the graduating class of 2012.
Another unique opportunity provided by a graduating senior is the opportunity to share encouragement and advice to students moving into High School. Each year with the advancement of 8th grade students to 9th grade they are provided advice on how to succeed and wisdom on doing so while enjoying your high school years. This culminating event encourages a successful transition and a memento is provided to each incoming freshman to remind them of their graduation date. While entering high school is significant;
