Loveable Leftovers, a Consignment and Jewelry Boutique Launches “Celebrity Lovable Leftovers” with Wendy Raquel Robinson, Kim Whitley and Luenell at June 3, 2012 Event. Reality TV Producers Looks to Make LL's Consignment into a HIT Show.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - May 23, 2012 - Lovable Leftovers, a consignment and jewelry boutique, has launched a new Hollywood-inspired initiative called “Celebrity Lovable Leftovers”.  Lovable Leftovers (LLs) boutique, owned by Lynn Patterson and Lorri Tarver, sells gently worn high-end garments and one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted jewelry, designed by Tarver.  “I was inspired to design my own exotic jewelry collection called, Wear It Sparkles, after walking into a mall and seeing nothing that I found appealing. I immediately began taking classes and now I'm studying with Alan Revere which takes me to a whole new level of creation. I love “bling”. I only use the best materials - sterling silver,  Swarovski crystals and precious stones.  My next step is Fine Jewelry designs and all of these creations are perfect accessories to our high-end consignment fashions.” LLs retail space was purposely designed to invite the consumer to shop, relax and engage with other shoppers. “Inspired by my mothers fashion sense and humanitarian spirit, I knew I had to create something that would allow her legacy to live on.  I asked all my closest friends, instead of buying me a birthday gift, bring me a quality item from your closet. Every person I know has a quality item in their closet that they have not worn or gently worn, for whatever the reason. That was the beginning of Lovable Leftovers,” states Patterson.

The official launch of Celebrity Lovable Leftovers will be Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the business location.  The event will feature celebrity attendance, live music, hors d'oevures and wine. The Celebrity Lovable Leftovers launch is open to the public and it serves as a great opportunity for potential consignors to meet celebrities; network; see the boutique firsthand; and meet the owners.  This new Celebrity Lovable Leftovers initiative will also incorporate the charity component that owners, Patterson and Tarver, both former airline employees, felt was important.  “Our business has grown since we opened in October 2011 because people always want to look fabulous, but now, with the financial struggles we all face, consumers are looking for creative ways to save money,” says Patterson.   Actresses, Wendy Raquel Robinson,  Kim Whitley, and comedienne LueNell, have already committed to supplying  Celebrity Lovable Leftovers with their gently used, fashionable garments.  This high-profile, yet novel business model has attracted interest of Hollywood producers who are now developing a reality show with Patterson and Tarver.  “It’s exciting to own your own business, control your own destiny and be blessed enough for someone to see something special in what you do.”  says Tarver.

The fashion industry is a billion dollar industry that calculates the earnings of retail stores, outlet stores and online shopping.  The high-end consignment space has existed for decades but the space is growing rapidly.  The genius behind Patterson and Tarver's Celerity Lovable Leftovers stems from understanding Economics 101 – the Theory of Supply and Demand.    Many celebrities have a large surplus of clothing that has been worn once or infrequently, because of the industry standard:  celebrities should not be photographed in the same outfit twice. Consumers desperately want high-fashion designer items a large discount off the retail cost.  Patterson said, “we are helping celebrities recycle expensive designer items that they will no longer wear and simultaneously offer consumers a chance to purchase items they would never and could never pay full price for.”  Tarver adds, “Consumers will establish a unique connection with a celebrity.  They will be able to say, 'I own the dress Wendy Raquel wore on the Red Carpet' and we think that's pretty cool.”

Although the reality television space is saturated with new programming, there is always room for  a unique setting as a backdrop for non-scripted TV.   The reality series will showcase: the celebrities “giving” at Celebrity Lovable Leftovers, the interesting dynamics that surround owning a consignment boutique; the interesting characters that frequent Celebrity Lovable Leftovers; and the aspiring talent that utilizes the chic space for intimate events. “Everyday there is something exciting happening at the boutique. Sometimes hilarious and sometimes, stressful.  You just don't know who is coming through your door – and this is Hollywood and that lends itself to outrageous encounters,” says Patterson.

Celebrity Lovable Leftovers is a commodity that is suited to Hollywood's celebrity, entertainment culture but its mission also caters to the impoverished sector within our culture.  Celebrity Lovable Leftovers will give a percentage of every purchase to charity in the name of the celebrity whose item was sold. “To be able to give-back, financially and otherwise, makes us love our entrepreneur choice even more. This is a win-win for everyone,” says Tarver.
