Contest entry and voting is open to the public until the competition closes on June 26th at
12:00 AM. First, second, and third place prizes, each valued at more than $800, will be awarded to the three entrants whose submissions receive the highest number of votes. Prize items include pet photography by Amy Ploss-Samson, Jacksonville Jaguars tickets, Smile High Parasail and Schooner Freedom rides, Pilates sessions, restaurant gift cards, massages, and more.
“Life is better when you foster or adopt, and animal rescue is more effective when individuals and organizations work together,” said Jill Mero, FOJA President. “The ‘Better Together’ contest creates a gallery of local stories that helps people envision how rescue pets can positively impact their own lives.”
