Hospice of Michigan Accepting Applications for Camp Good Grief

May 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 23, 2012 – Hospice of Michigan is accepting applications for
Camp Good Grief, a day camp designed to help children cope with the loss of a loved one.

The free one-day camp is being held on Friday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Camp Newaygo, located at 5333 Centerline Road in Newaygo.  Children ages 12-15 are invited to attend Camp Good Grief, which offers a combination of fun and adventurous camp activities with grief education and emotional support.  

Hospice of Michigan grief professionals and trained volunteers facilitate the camp, which is open to all children in the community.  Transportation will be provided for campers from Newaygo Middle School to Camp Newaygo and then back to Newaygo Middle School.
