The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa has opened with great fanfare and the team at Afternoon-Tea-Edinburgh.com were one of the first to be invited along to sample the hotel's new and innovative afternoon tea selections.

Out has gone the traditional wingback chairs and dark carpets, and in has come super sleek and comfortable furnishings and fittings. Afternoon tea is served in the One Square restaurant. One Square has a variety of spaces to dine in, from the cool bar and restaurant to the elegant private dining rooms, there is somewhere to suit your taste.

The afternoon tea has retained all the best features from its previous incarnation, such as the elegant Samovar, freshly baked scones, and the range of quality teas, and has been improved on greatly with an innovative seasonal menu, quirky cakes and improved vistas of Festival Square.
