LCPC Serving Free Iced Coffees During La Canada Memorial Day Parade

PRLog (Press Release) - May 22, 2012 - La Cañada Flintridge, CA – Each year, the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce celebrates Memorial Day with a fun parade complete with classic cars, horses and marching bands. On Monday, May 28, La Cañada Presbyterian Church is excited to join in the festivities by hosting an iced coffee stand curbside during the Memorial Day parade. Led by La Cañada resident Tom King, LCPC volunteers will be serving up free iced coffee mixes from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In addition, the church will be opening up its parking lot and bathrooms to the public. To park in the lot, enter on Woodleigh Lane and the attendant will let you through to the parking lot. Friends and neighbors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and watch the parade from the church’s patio. The parade start time is 10:30 a.m.

La Cañada Presbyterian Church (LCPC) began in 1948 with 158 members and a vision to reach the world for Jesus Christ. That early church was built quite literally on faith and charity from remainder brick and an operating budget that turned just about all of its revenue into active ministry.
