Dale Rogers Training Center supports people with disabilities through paid vocational training, in-house programs and work opportunities as well as competitive community employment. Individuals at Dale Rogers work shop receive pay for their work and as a benefit, Dale Rogers likes to throw a monthly party called a “Fun Fest” to give everyone a break and a chance to cut loose a little. This month’s Fun Fest theme is Thunder Appreciation Day. This tradition of a monthly celebration gives the individuals a chance to socialize and let off steam from their hard work. A Sugar Free Allstars concert provides 45 minutes of fun, rhythm heavy songs that encourage a high level of audience participation which is a perfect outlet for the individuals at Dale Rogers.
Sugar Free Allstars is Chris (Boom!) Wiser (lead vocals, keyboards, saxophones and bass clarinet) and Rob (Dr. Rock) Martin (vocals and percussion) a duo that has been making funky-fresh music for families for five years, performing at venues all over their home state of Oklahoma as well as in venues throughout Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri, including the Kansas City Jiggle Jam.
“The educational aspect of their music shines through and provides great learning opportunity for our individuals”

Dale Rogers is thrilled to play host to one of the most funky-fresh groups from Oklahoma that has a positive and uplifting message. If there is anything the individuals at Dale Rogers like to do – it’s dance! Sugar Free Allstars will be the highlight of DRTC’s Thunder Appreciation Day.
