In an interview with the well-respected industry newsletter, Practical Dermatology publisher Ali Kinnie credited market share growth to a range of factors, including a focus on digital opportunities like DermTube.com, DermWire.com, and increasingly popular custom projects. In addition, parent company Bryn Mawr Communications III, LLC has invested in staffing and improved the graphic appeal of the monthly publication, which reaches dermatologists across the US, as well as dermatology physician assistants.
The result? For the first quarter of 2012, Practical Dermatology experienced a 41.7% growth in ad pages compared to the same period last year—the second largest market share increase in the dermatology sector.
“We are excited by the growth of Practical Dermatology and thrilled that advertisers and readers are responding to the improvements we’ve made to the publication,”
