Jeremy Green a/k/a Jay Green was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and has been chasing his dreams of music through many trials. “I started when I was about 16, but sports were more so my focus then… Music has always been something I loved and wanted do.” His determination that fuels his music dates back to his career as both a high school and collegiate Basketball player. “I’ve always been inspired by the grind both in music and in sports… The two work hand-in-hand, for it’s all about having a voice and creating a name for yourself.”
His competitive spirit became evident in 2007-2008, when he was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a cancer that is found in the immune system. “My Character is very positive, competitive, outgoing and fun… Those were the keys to me beating Lymphoma in such a short time… Having Lymphoma was a minor setback for a major comeback, a small bump in the road of this grand story called life.” he explains. Since then he has been fully motivated and focused to chase after his dream of becoming signed artist.
