Once you are inside the Mazda3, you immediately notice the stylish and modern design. The driving position is pretty much perfect and it does not matter if you are big or small because it is easy to get comfortable in the Mazda3 with the adjustable height on the driver’s seat and the steering wheel. When I purchased my Mazda3 from Phoenix Mazda this was one of the things that I liked the most about the car because I have a big family and a lot of us would be driving the new car. An adjustable and adaptable driving position was therefore very important and appealing to me.
Mazda is one of the most generous manufacturers in terms of standard equipment levels with even the entry level Mazda3’s being fitted with anti-skid control and head restraints that move forward in an accident to prevent whip lash. I think safety is always an important factor to consider and research before purchasing a vehicle and I was grateful for the detailed explanation that I received from the salesman at Phoenix Mazda.
The 1.6 litre Diesel version of the Mazda3 is both punchy and economical and is, in my opinion, the best version to have especially with the prices of fuel constantly on the rise.
The steering is sharp and the gearbox is smooth and direct. The suspension is also very firm which allows you to fling it into the corners with ease.
I was surprised at how comfortable the seat was and I was even more surprised when I took it out for a test drive and realised that the comfort did not diminish on the bumpy country lanes.
