PRLog (Press Release) -
May 22, 2012 - Travellers to Singapore can now plan their trip at ComeSingapore.com, a one-stop travel portal for visitors to this city. The site features various tourist resources such as travel articles, a tourist directory, local events calendar, a photo gallery and maps of the city. Travellers can also book their accommodations, flights and tours on the site, and check out group buying deals available to tourists.
Now, with the release of ComeSingapore.com’
s new Itinerary Planner, users can bookmark things they would like to include in their itinerary while they are going through the resources on the site. The user-friendly planner allows visitors to create a fresh itinerary of their own, or tweak suggested itineraries to suit their needs. Suggested itineraries include themes tailored for culture vultures, nature lovers, adventure junkies, as well as the budget traveller, among others.
As travellers become increasingly reliant on online sources for travel research, ComeSingapore.com’
s Itinerary Planner allows the user to seamlessly transfer their research to a customizable itinerary. With only basic information such as travel dates, preferences and budget, users can send an itinerary to their email that includes maps, recommendations on things to do and places to eat, and pertinent travel information such as the weather and exchange rate.
“We believe that planning for a trip is part for the whole experience of a holiday and should be easy and fun”, said Winnie Tan, General Manager of Travelogy. “We hope travellers will find this tool we have built to be useful and that it would help to improve their Singapore experience,”
she added.
