Bike Jewelry for Century Riders

PRLog (Press Release) - May 21, 2012 - Chainspirations, creating jewelry from recycled bike chains, announces the newest "Century Celebration" collection featuring the number '100' made from bicycle chain parts! Akin to the marathon 26.2 and half marathon 13.1 milestones, now cyclists can celebrate their centuries in a fun and fashionable way!

Recycled bike chains are disassembled, cleaned, polished and coated and then used to create jewelry. Chainspirations partners with The Motion Initiative to disassemble the chains. The Motion Initiative is a non-profit organization working to facilitate adventure, freedom, and hope, through the gateway of cycling, to the inner city youth of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  

A portion of proceeds are donated to organizations promoting healthy living - currently the YMCA and a local organization, Trailnet. Chainspirations' jewelry is also available for fundraising.
