Akadema Endorser Bryce Harper Hits 1st Career Home Run

PRLog (Press Release) - May 21, 2012 - Hawthorne, NJ – May 15, 2012 – Akadema endorser Bryce Harper hit his 1st career home run for the Washington Nationals, on May 14, against the San Diego Padres.  In the bottom of the third, the Nationals scored three runs, with Harper finishing the scoring off with his home run coming off of Padres pitcher, Tim Stauffer.  "I was trying to go up there and get a knock. That's all I was worried about. I was trying to get something I could drive and go out of the ballpark," Harper said. "I have guys around me that are hitting very well. It gets a little easier when guys are hitting the ball."  Harper, who was playing in his 15th career MLB game, came out of the dugout, and gave a curtain call.  Harper now has 9 runs, 14 hits, 6 doubles, 2 home runs, and 5 RBI’s.  “Harper is a once in a generation type of talent”, says Kris Totten VP of Sales, “With a long term contract in place, we are excited about the endless possibilities his name will bring.”
