The Second Annual Herm Edwards Charity Golf Tournament Benefitting The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County
MONTEREY, CA -- The Second Annual Herm Edwards Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, June 29th, 2012 at Pasadera Country Club at 100 Pasadera Drive in Monterey.
ESPN's Hunter Finnell and Herm Edwards will be your hosts The tournament will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Monterey County whose mission is to inspire and empower the youth of Monterey County to realize their full potential to become responsible, healthy, productive and successful citizens.
Born and raised in Seaside, NFL standout and coach Herm Edwards believes in the youth of the Monterey Community and the commitment the Boys & Girls Club of Monterey County has made to help inspire and enrich the lives of local young people.
The event is a four person scramble and check in begins at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. There will be low gross first place, low net 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as awards for a hole in one, long drive and closes to the pin. At the event play golf, meet Herm Edwards and learn about his passion for the Monterey Peninsula and The Boys & Girls Club of Monterey, enjoy dinner at Pasadera Country Club and bid on silent and live auction items to help raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Monterey County.
The cost to participate is $250.00 per player and includes dinner, awards and auction at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to just attend the dinner and auction, the cost is $50.00 per person. Donations are accepted without your presence to the Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County.
