PRLog - May 20, 2012 - HUDSON, Wis. -- Starting in April, TurnKey Corrections continued its' growth in their existing markets adding four key facilities and nearly 1200 inmates to their customer base. These facilities include:
TurnKey Corrections Inmate Kiosk
** Caldwell County, Missouri: In early April, TurnKey installed in this 120 bed facility located in North Central Missouri. Caldwell holds a variety of inmates including ICE inmates. The TurnKey system is going to allow complete automation of many processes in Caldwell that are all ICE compliant. In the near future, Caldwell will be activating the video visitation aspect of the system so that friends and family from across the world will be able to visit inmates from their home or work computer.
** Martin County, Minnesota: In mid-April, TurnKey installed in this small Southwestern MN county with 33 inmates. Martin County is going to use TurnKey's technology to facilitate their commissary services but will also continue to self operate their canteen. TurnKey is the only company that allows facilities to run their own commissary program while using vendor technology. Martin will also be incorporating the video visitation services along with many other features in the very near future.
** Pennington County, South Dakota: Effective May 15, TurnKey is now live in Pennington County, South Dakota. Located in the heart of the Black Hills, minutes from Mt. Rushmore, TurnKey is now live in the main jail in Rapid City and will be incorporating their services in to the other correctional facilities in the county in the coming months. With the capacity exceeding 600 beds in Pennington County, the efficiency and security gains combined with the revenue and expense control growth, the TurnKey technology will make significant impact upon South Dakota's key western correctional facility. Pennington will also be incorporating off-site video visitation immediately after installation.
** Stutsman County, North Dakota: Jamestown, ND is the newest ND TurnKey Facility effective the first week of May. Stutsman will be employing all aspects of the TurnKey technology including video visitation. Jamestown is also the home of TurnKey's newest distribution center. Jamestown will be servicing all of the ND facilities, plus several facilities in South Dakota and Western / Northwestern Minnesota. This 90 bed facility will be hosting the 2012 North Dakota Peace Officer Association meeting in a few short months also.
In addition to these facilities coming live with TurnKey, the Hudson, WI based organization has added over a dozen existing facilities to its' proprietary video visitation system. Facilities in Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho and Oregon now use this service. Most recently, Williams ND County Jail brought the system live to replace its' existing visitation system. With the oil boom going on in Williston, ND and the surrounding areas, this was a critical service for this jail. TurnKey will be installing this service in to several new and existing facilities in MN, WI, ND, SD, IN, MO, OR, CO, WY and ID before the end of the second quarter this year.
TurnKey continues to grow while maintaining a high level of service with its' existing facilities. In fact, the company took the entire first quarter off from installing new facilities to solely focus on bringing its' customer service levels to a new standard for the 70+ existing facilites in 14 states. "We added several new operational and service personnel to our staff in the first quarter" noted TurnKey General Manager Todd Westby. "We needed to have them master our processes plus show our existing clients how important they are to us. Combine that with adding new distribution centers in Jamestown and Idaho Falls, ID, we now are better positioned to continue our mission of being the best business partner in the Corrections industry."
And the balance of 2012 will continue to be eventful for TurnKey and its' client facilities. "We are introducing our inmate email / text message product" noted TurnKey General Sales Manager Patrick McMullan. "We expect this to allow our facilities to have a new level of communication available to their new inmates that will only help enhance their existing services. Combine that with the marketing efforts through our website, www.inmatecanteen.com, we have seen our inmate purchases increase significantly in 2012".
TurnKey offers a complete technology solution for facilities using one kiosk. Their system features: inmate commissary, accounting, balance / purchase history, inmate e-mail / texting, paperless kits, on / off-site visitation, inmate phone, debit release cards, an industry best internet portal and much more. Additionally, TurnKey owns all of its code and all of their technology is either under copyright / patent or has patents pending. TurnKey manufacturers its' own kiosks and through its' subsidiary, American Institutional Supply, fulfills all commissary and jail supply needs for correctional facilities.
