With Intel’s latest 3rd generation Core™ i7 Processor, dedicated graphics processing, a full HD display, a Blu-ray drive, generous storage capacity and JBL optimized speakers complete with subwoofer, the Series 5 550P delivers an exceptional multimedia experience even while on-the-go.

Powered by Intel’s 3rd generation Core™ i7 Quad Core processor, the Series 5 550P features a 25% improvement on performance when compared to 2nd generation CPUs, while consuming 20% less power, ensuring twice as fast 3D gaming and media experiences. This is complemented with an NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 650M 2GB graphics card, a Blu-ray drive and up to 2TB of storage, ensuring easy access to multi-format content as well as seamless creating, playback, editing and storage of multimedia content.

The Series 5 550P features Samsung’s Superior LCD technology for a superior next-generation viewing experience, including an HD 1920x1080 high-resolution anti-reflective display with SuperBright 300nit brightness. Equipped with a Blu-ray drive, the notebook offers Full HD content playback in a portable form factor. An incredibly rich, vivid and crisp visual experience is further enhanced with integrated JBL optimized speakers and a Max Bass Boost subwoofer, providing enjoyment for eyes and ears all around.


Boosted Usability for Ease-of-use

To enable users to be fully capable of creating and enjoying content on the go, the Series 5 550P features a full-size keyboard with isolated numeric and direction keys. Building on the design heritage of Samsung notebooks, the Series 5 550P has also been crafted for a compact appearance. The 15” model weighs just 2.5 kg (5.51 lbs) with a height of 29.9 ~ 30.4 mm (1.17” ~ 1.19”). The 17” model weighs 3.05 kg (6.72 lbs) with a height of 29.2 ~ 32.2 mm (1.14” ~ 1.26”).
