Follow on Google News | Restaurant Update: Free Full Length Film Added To YouTube In Honor Of National Waitstaff Day 2012The popular romantic comedy "Did I Say Thousand Island?" is now on YouTube. This will allow more people access to the film that has already been seen in 184 countries.
By: Remake 4 Water Mininova has been carrying the movie for 4 years and as other torrents sites continued to add it to their libraries, DiVita knew it was time for YouTube to get in on the action. When Patti DiVita, the writer, director, and producer of the film, "Did I Say Thousand Island?" saw it being added with descriptions like "hot new movie" or "new release", she knew it needed even more exposure. It also reinforced her belief that the movie is timeless and can appeal to anyone, anytime-- in or out of the restaurant industry. "National Waitstaff Day also needs more exposure", DiVita states. For an industry which is the second largest employer in the US, its special day of recognition remains obscure. "May 21st is our day, and hardly anyone knows about it. That needs to change." she says. The clean and positive romantic comedy set inside restaurant life, which premiered January of 2007 in Summit County Colorado, was made as a tribute to those in the industry. Also of note concerning this restaurant day of celebration is the popular sitcom "2 Broke Girls" being renewed by CBS for a second season. It ranked high in its first season and DiVita for one is thrilled. "Whether you like the show or not," she says, "the fact that it's so popular will help in my mission with 'Did I Say Thousand Island?' ".
