During the 2nd annual competition that included obstacle course driving, difficult delivery challenges and tricky PODS® container maneuvers using the company’s patented PODZILLA® hydraulic lift system, 17 PODS drivers battled to show their skills and expertise.
At the end of the day, Alberto Ortiz, a driver from PODS Los Angeles, was victorious. Ortiz, who has worked as a PODS driver for over 4 years, was awarded a large trophy, grand prize awards and company bragging rights.
“This contest is a wonderful way for our PODS drivers to engage in a friendly competition and to show off their exceptional driving and delivery skills,” said Ann Lehman, PODS interim president. “PODS takes great pride in the fact that our drivers deliver exceptional service to our customers and take great care when delivering and storing their personal belongings.”
