Bethesda, M.D., April 20, 2012 – Feature film Arrange to Settle will have a Red Carpet screening and reception at The Movies in Montgomery Mall on June 7, 2012. The event will have a Q&A with the artists after the screening.
Arrange to Settle is the story of an intelligent, passionate, and talented Indian woman named Jyothi and her decision between the certainty and guarantees of an arranged marriage versus the excitement and turbulence of love. The film also touches on the culture clash that stems from the Indian diaspora to the United States which resulted in first generation Indians being torn between two worlds. The film's visual focus is on the sights and sounds of our nation's capital, its suburbs and its vibrant and thriving social scene. The film showcases a world-class, eclectic soundtrack featuring some of D.C.’s hottest local musicians.
The film features cameos from Mike Isabella from 2 seasons of Bravo TV’s Top Chef and owner of the restaurant Graffiato and Teddy Folkman from the Next Food Network Star and Throwdown with Bobby Flay from the Food Network and owner of Granville Moore's Gastropub,

"I am already proud to say I was born in D.C., and have grown up in the suburbs of D.C. Although D.C. is a major city, it has a supportive small town feel to it. I'm excited to show the world that this city is more than just politics and government through a universally themed story that is relatable to most of us.”
