About Rise To The Top Productions

Rise To The Top Productions, Corp was founded in New York in 2012 by Songwriter and vocalist, Amin Laboriel.  Mr. Laboriel, of Garifuna descent, was born in Honduras and raised in the Bronx, New York. And for him, every crossroad in life appears to lead back to music and the essence of his existence seems to be embedded in music. This is clearly a genetic trait:  His father Julian Laboriel was the director of music in one of the most prestigious universities in Honduras; his uncles are Abraham Laboriel, a legendary bassist interpreter, and Johnny Laboriel, an international Latin Rock Star.  His cousin is the extraordinary percussionist Abe Laboriel Jr., currently on tour with Paul McCartney, and his brother is singer/composer Ludwing Laboriel.

Given this host of family musicians, it is understandable why Mr. Laboriel is committed to the artist development of young stars at Rise To The Top Productions.  At a time where major record labels are unwilling to sign new artist from scratch, Rise To The Top Productions is taking the risk to help musically intelligent young stars get their career started and up to speed. This record label is empowering young artist to see themselves as entrepreneurs as they take affirmative action in the decision making of their music careers.
