Three television show demos directed by Birmingham based Real World Productions Director Gary Brown captured the attention of Bradley Glenn. Glenn recently completed a sizzle reel for former NBC/Universal Today show Anchor, Katie Couric, for her new show, "Katie's Take", which appears on the Yahoo.com network.
Bradley Glenn and James Fideler were inspired by Tahiera's story. During their time in Birmingham, they want to capture on film the most critical aspects of Tahiera’s life. This production will take a peek behind the curtain of her world.
Donna Francavilla is a renown media professional here in Birmingham with a knack for television production, and coaching in the area of communications. Donna is a lot like Tahiera's conscience. "When Donna speaks, I listen".
Bradley, James, and Donna, want the viewing audience to learn what drives Tahiera Monique Brown. According to Tahiera, the original concept for "Living True and Truly Living", has been in the works for quite some time. "Quite a bit of planning took place to get this project to where it is today". Brown admits looking patiently (and sometimes impatiently)
After one meeting, and reading Tahiera’s book, “Annihilator of Innocence”, Gary Brown of Real World saw my vision...he got into my head...he read my book...he got it. Within a month after meeting him, he brought others on board who were based right here in Birmingham. These professionals helped me to create the basis for a high quality television show".
"Tahiera has always been adamant about picking the team that is the right team for her", states her husband, Victor Brown. “What she has found is that it’s not so much about who can provide the lowest bid. It’s really all about who will take the time to provide quality service, and go above and beyond expectations to create a true masterpiece”
The shooting schedule begins on May 19, 2012, and will continue through May 20, 2012. "Birmingham is my home”, says Tahiera. “This city is the backdrop of my life, and of many other lives. This is the place where I cleared my mind, and searched for a new career, after years of working in the film industry. There were special places in Birmingham where I meditated and prayed and asked God what I was supposed to do with my life. How was I going to write my first book? Living in Birmingham has allowed me not just to ‘try’ to live, but to ‘truly’ live". This statement from Mrs. Brown is a hint of the premise of the "Living True and Truly Living" television show. "There are many others out there who are just like me" Tahiera says. "Many, many others". People want to hear, and need to hear, what this show has to say.
So, stay tuned for "Living True and Truly Living”.
