“Monica is a great addition to our firm. She further strengthens our tax group, adding yet another new tax attorney to that rapidly expanding group, and her healthcare experience bolsters what is already considered one of the pre-eminent practices in the Northwest,” said Anne Preston, chair of Garvey Schubert Barer. “We remain overjoyed that high quality attorneys, such as Monica, are choosing to practice at our firm. We have been lucky enough to add 16 new lawyers in the last year, expanding and deepening the services that we offer to our clients.”
Langfeldt’s practice encompasses business, transaction and international tax counsel, as well as advising U.S. and foreign corporations, partnerships and individuals in tax and business planning matters. She also assists charitable and tax-exempt organizations on a full range of legal issues, including creation, operation, merger, acquisition and dissolution, as well as compliance with state and federal laws. Langfeldt has also negotiated numerous software licensing agreements for healthcare providers.
