Summer Day Camp Programs: Camp DeWitt located in Hillsborough, NJ (One week sessions, June 25 - August 10) • THE OVAL located in South Mountain Reservation, Maplewood, NJ – (One week sessions, July 2 - Aug 10). Centrally located transportation is available to both camps with stops in Hunterdon, Somerset Counties, and Middlesex Borough for Camp DeWitt and Hudson, Union and Essex Counties for The OVAL.
Resident Camp Program: Camp Hoover located in Middleville, NJ - (One week sessions, July 8 - August 18).
A variety of programs and sessions are available to meet the interests and needs of all girls. Each week is jam packed with a variety of activities such as: arts, fashion, sports, outdoor cooking, environmental studies, crafts, swimming, and cooking. Girl Scout Summer Camp has many benefits: all girl environments focused on the needs of girls, professional trained Girl Scout facilitators, low staff camper ratios, activities divided by age-level with educational programs, a safe and secure site and trained staff including CPR/First Aid certified camp staff who have passed a background check.
Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey provides summer camp opportunities to every girl, regardless of her family’s financial situation. Financial assistance is available for is available for girls who otherwise would not be able to attend camp. HURRY!
