PRACTICAL SHOOTING, Beyond Fundamentals now available as an ebook

Brian Enos, competitive shooting champion/author, announces the release "Practical Shooting, Beyond Fundamentals" for Kindle, iBooks, and NOOK ereaders.

May 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Written by Brian Enos, a Masters Champion and two-time Bianchi Cup winner, Practical Shooting, Beyond Fundamentals is often considered the competitive shooters bible. It includes in-depth coverage of the technical and mental aspects of training and competition, and will offer new insights related to mental preparation and training techniques.
Through Brian's advice, you'll learn how to recognize and break down the barriers that are limiting your performance—you may begin to look at shooting in an entirely different way. Learn to pressure-proof your match performance, how different types of shooting require different focal points, and see how to develop an attitude that will let you reach beyond what you thought was your potential.

Originally written in 1990, the book is now in it's sixteenth printing, so bringing it to ereader devices as an ebook was a natural evolution for this now classic text, which is now a Top Ten seller on Amazon.com within the 'Shooting' book category. (as of May 1, 2012)

"There is only one person in the world who I would allow to talk to my students, and that is Brian Enos."
- Rob Leatham, 26-time National & World IPSC Champion

Brian Enos began competitive shooting in 1978, and went on to become a legend in the practical shooting scene. He is a Masters Champion, two-time Bianchi Cup winner (1983, 84), and has placed in the top-5 at every major practical shooting event, including two second-place finishes at the Steel Challenge and the IPSC Nationals. He is also a certified Combat Master.

Brian resides in Arizona, and runs his own website and forums devoted to competition shooting, at: www.brianenos.com .

AMAZON reviewers say...

"Well written, current, and insightful. This book not only helps you understand the fundamentals of shooting, you will learn a lot about yourself in the process. A classic."

"The name Brian Enos is familiar to anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the action shooting sports. In the late 1970s and early '80s, Enos and his good friend Rob Leatham revolutionized competitive shooting by developing techniques allowing high speed pistol control - and a level of performance - previously impossible. They did this by questioning everything, throwing out many of the sacred cows like the Weaver Stance espoused by the experts of the day, and embracing anything - no matter how unconventional - that worked. The techniques they developed (for a few years, until the other guys could adopt the same methods to catch up) didn't just put Leatham and Enos ahead of the rest of the best in the world - they were in an entirely different CLASS."

"I am a Cowboy Action shooter always looking for ways to improve my shooting skills. Fellow shooters had highly recommended the book Practical Shooting and I started looking for a copy. The best deal came by way of Amazon and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.."

"I had got a copy years ago and misplaced it, I decided to get another one recently. I have learned and developed my shooting to a higher level and this book was the basis for it. I don’t think there is one book I could recommend more to someone at any level of shooting."

"Practical Shooting, Beyond Fundamentals " by Brian Enos - 201 pages - ISBN 978-0-9851292-5-5. Suggested retail price $19.99 , eBook editions $9.99 .
