Ballroom Dance Fundraiser to help Up Kids!

May 17, 2012 - PRLog -- DanceCenter will be hosting the very first fundraiser for Up Kids at 7 p.m. on June 2, 2012.

Up Kids! is a non-profit organization that raises awareness of the ‘artistic’ talents of children with Autism, Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.

“We are honored that DanceCenter LV has chosen to support Up Kids! as their annual fundraiser; we look forward to creating an amazing arts camp for kids with intellectual disabilities” stated Up Kids! Founder, Ray Garza.

The funds raised at this event will help support Up Kids! and their future Up Kids! Camp (http://www.upkids.org), a weekend of talent as performed by the Up Kids! kids, an Awards Ceremony and a special Sponsor Gala, which will be produced in Las Vegas, NV.

“DanceCenter has put together a wonderful evening of events for this great organization, and we would like to invite the community to join us!” shared Carrie Cone Fernandez, Owner of DanceCenter Ballroom and Latin Dance Studio.

The event will include food and drinks, a spotlight performance by DanceCenter’s very own Ballroom and Latin professionals, a silent auction and a few guest surprises. To help raise funds, coordinators for the event are asking attendees for any type of cash or gift donation.
