By: Jennifer Hancock (@JentheHumanist) “My book clearly struck a nerve” Jennifer stated when asked about why she thought so many people downloaded the book. “With the rise in awareness of the problem of chronic bullying and parents being desperate to help their kids avoid the trauma of bullying, my book offers them a lifeline with easy to understand and implement skills parents can teach their kids to help them overcome bullying.” Based on operant conditioning techniques Jennifer learned from her mother as well as from her experience as a dolphin trainer in Hawaii, The Bully Vaccine teaches parents practical ways they can protect their kids from bullying. These skills are so easy to learn even a kindergartner can understand them. As a mother herself, Jennifer taught these skills to her son when he was in kindergarten and he was easily able to put them into practice the very next day. And, yes, they worked, he even endorses her book. When asked why she decided to give the book away Jennifer said, “I know my book can really help people, but I can’t help them if they don’t know my book exists. I decided to give my book away for two days as a way to get the word out about the availability of the book and to get it into the hands of people who really need the help.” The Bully Vaccine is available in paperback and as a Kindle ebook.
