May 17, 2012 - PRLog -- According to reliable estimates, ninety per cent of the users of web communities are account corpses. Then Facebook would have created 8.2 billion account corpses - in only 8 years. A really huge number. For comparison: In 250 000 years, mankind has only made it up to 7.01 billion people currently alive.

Can that be true? The movement-for-account-corpses.de wants facts:

* That's why this year on May 1 it has asked Mark Zuckerberg to finally tell the world's population how many accounts are registered on Facebook - in total. Up to now - no reaction.

* Furthermore the movement-for-account-corpses.de has strongly advised Mark Zuckerberg to stop offending tens of millions of proud Facebook account corpses by calling them 'active users'. "Dear Mr. Zuckerberg, just because an account keeper presses the 'Like' button somewhere on the internet, shares a twitter message or has some automatic Facebook updates running which he doesn't know anything about you cannot withdraw the account corpse status from our members!", the movement complained in an Open Letter which was never answered.

* Thirdly, the movement-for-account-corpses.de has made the very good proposal to implement a special account corpse status on Facebook. That would help interested companies to place advertising on Facebook which is specially targeted at account corpses. This could prevent advertising customers from following the example of General Motors which has turned away from Facebook out of dissappointment.

But: To this day, Mark Zuckerberg did not meet any of our demands!

To send out a signal against these unprecedented ruthlessness against account corpses the movement-for-account-corpses.de calls for a minute's silence: As a little act of solidarity with account corpses all sympathizers are kindly asked to remain in the so called account corpses' position for a minute when Facebook is going public which is on Friday, 9:30 a.m. (eastern time). To get in the account corpses' position just let your arms, head and back drop forwards and let them hang limp.

Afterwords smartphone user may have a look at the gigantic commemorative coin the movement-for-account-corpses.de has built. To do so you have to use the augmented reality browser "Layar" and search for "Commemorate". The Coin is printed with the slogan "In Account Corpses We Trust" and an account corpse. It is rotating in front of the New York Nasdaq, but it can be seen worldwide.

The Second Life based movement-for-account-corpes.de was founded by the avatar Muji Zapedzki and her account keeper Susanne Berkenheger in 2007. By general request of the account corpse scene, the movement declared to represent the account corpses of all metaverses and online communities in the very first month of its existence. The estimated number of members runs into tens of billions.
