NineBricks.com brings together inventors, designers, engineers, and startup enthusiasts to share ideas, create teams and build a viable product…all in 9 days!
Here’s how it works:
1. A member share his/her ideas and ask other members to join their team to build this concept.
2. The member then selects his team members to form a team. Once a team if formed, the group will have 9 days to execute on their concept.
3. Once the time is up, the members disband and can join other teams.
This concept was hatched when co-founders Woon Chu and Andrew Chen enrolled and met in Venture Lab, an online course for entrepreneurship offered by Stanford University. They recognized that so much can be achieved when you put together people who want to share, learn, and are motivated to solve real problems.
“Part of creating a great product is through customer development and validation so we put our hypothesis to test and based on the feedback and interest level, we decided to take it to the next step”, co-founder Chu explained, “hence NineBricks was created.”
The natural question is then why 9 days? Is there a secret behind it?
“We found that most of us over-think issues and sometimes a simple solution is all it takes to solve a simple problem. By setting a short timeline, 2 things happen…” co-founder Chen responded, “Firstly, it makes the team to hone in on the exact heart of the problem at hand. Secondly, the team becomes highly focused and operates at optimized levels.”
Access to NineBricks’ latest product is only open to beta users at this time.
