Her new single Dolce skyrocketed to the top of the Official European Indie Chart last month where it nearly tied for #1 and playing 3500 times per week on 700 radio stations across Europe and Canada.
This month Aria Tesolin and her song Dolce are featured in Cool New Music on AllAccess.com, alongside such music industry notables as Adele, Justin Bieber, John Mayer, and Norah Jones.
As an artist, Aria is more than a singer. She is also a recognized poet, well known on the spoken word scene, and a literary poet, internationally published four times this past year alone, and soon to be featured in Great Poets Across America in honour of National Poetry Month.
Heard her name before? Aria was once the 8 year old child opera singing sensation whose daring opera repertoire charmed Toronto audiences in concerts with Canada’s 3 Tenors. Her early concerts were featured on every Canadian news channel and several television shows. On YouTube she reached an audience of 7 million and inspired countless young people to discover the beauty and drama of opera, including being the personal inspiration for a very young Jackie Evancho.
Since then, Aria continued to develop and refine her vocal craft while cultivating her artistic authenticity. A child no longer, her repertoire that has grown to encompass an original adult contemporary sound, while cultivating creatively interesting alliances with pop classical and jazz crossover music. Aria is currently working on a full length album which will embrace a contemporary soft pop sound derived from her growing lyrics catalogue.
On June 16 the young star is headlining in a special performance at Trane Studio, one of the top 150 jazz clubs in the world, accompanied by top Canadian jazz musicians, Reg Schwager, Max Senitt, and Ross McIntyre as she turns her attention to Jazz Romance from Yesterday to Today, with a special collection of modern originals, crooner and jazz crossover songs.
This is an exciting opportunity to witness an unparalleled performance by a young performer of superb artistry, in a not to be missed performance, and a chance to get up close with one of today’s serious young Canadian vocalists - certain to be among the next league of global artists.
