May 16, 2012 - Lynn Hunter’s Back to Nature outdoor photography captures a larger than life close up view of flowers and the often unnoticed wildlife that surrounds us. Her crisp use of color and natural gift for composition pulls the viewer within the frame to discover minute details, textures and patterns. Finding balance between her love for nature and portrait photography Lynn started her own children’s portrait business, Creative Expressions by Lynn Hunter, LLC that combines the elements of both.
Lynn’s passion for photography began at age nine when she received her first camera. After joining local camera clubs she was awarded numerous trophies and “Slide of the Year” ribbons for her nature photography. In 2008, Lynn was awarded 1st place for her portraiture in the Connecticut Professional Photographer’
s Association Quarterly Competition. Lynn attributes many of the techniques she has learned through her participation and membership in the Connecticut Professional Photographers Association and the Professional Photographers of New England. She continues to expand her learning by attending the New England Institute of Professional Photography. Her website is www.lynnhunter.com.
